Aberdeen Cut the Rent campaign is calling on the University to cut and cap the halls of residence. With the cost of the cheapest accommodation increasing by 43% in the last five years, and the average cost of halls coming in at 102% of the standard student loan, many are living in poverty to pay rent.
Come along to an open meeting of the campaign to talk about your issues in halls, and plan for future campaign actions. Tell your flatemates, your friends, your coursemates and bring them along!
