First Aid Training
We regularly hold First Aid Training for our Activities.
This comprises a 1 day course held at Aberdeen Sports Village.
Upon completion of the course you gain a Level 2 Emergency First Aid at Work qualification
The course has two elements, a theoretical classroom work and a practical assessment and a practical assessment on CPR and first aid, enabling a first aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work.
Topics covered:
- Roles and responsibilities of a first aider
- Management of an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally
- Management of an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally
- Management of a casualty with external bleeding Management of a casualty with a minor injury
- Management of a casualty who is in shock
