The Science Journalism Society produces Au Science Magazine, a magazine that showcases the best in science from Aberdeen to the university, city and beyond. Furthermore, we produce the online blog and conduct the Au Talks, student led presetations about science. The committee is dedicated to improving and encouraging journalism and writing amongst science students. We aim to provide a media in which students can express their passion for science.
The magazine is written for all audiences, and written by students of any discipline. No prior scientific knowledge is required to understand any of the articles. We aim to make science more fun and understandable to those who are not studying science or those who are daunted by the word ‘science’.
We meet every MONDAY at 6.00pm in the C25 room in Taylor.
